On January 16th, we had a major flood in our house due to a plugged and overflowing utility sink in our laundry room. The best that we could determine the water continued running and overflowing for 2 hours or more.... Read More It ran long enough to flood the whole downstairs of our house with about an inch of water. We were in our bedroom watching a movie and did not know what was happening. When the movie ended and we went out into our downstairs hallway we were shocked and blown away at how much water there was everywhere. Nothing like this had ever happened to us and at first we just stood there dumbfounded. As soon as I was able to move I ran to my computer and Googled flood damage specialists. The first company that I found was Sawtooth Water Restoration and I called them. Devin Smith answered and I just blurted out "I need help immediately. Can you come right away. It was after 5:00 PM and I was fairly hysterical. I had no idea what they could do or how much it was going to cost. I was really upset and had no idea if my home would ever be okay again. Deven was wonderful. He calmed me down and assured me that they knew what to do. He said they would be there within the hour. He told me not to worry and that he would walk us through the process including dealing with our insurance company. I can't say that I suddenly became calm but I certainly was relieved to know someone experienced was on their way. He and two other team members got to work immediately determining how much was damaged what needed to be done. It was worse then I realized because in addition to what I could see there was water in our crawl space and they found mold behind our washing machine. They worked for about 5 or 6 hours that first day tearing out all the damaged floors, baseboards and dry wall. They put down multiple fans and air humidifiers and more. The came back the next day and continued working for most of the day. They continued to come back each day to inspect how things were going. They also worked directly with our insurance agent and a remodeling company that we were working with to have some remodeling work done next month. Deven and his team were amazing, professional and hardworking. I would recommend them to anyone needing water damage or mold damage services. Its been more than a week since all this happened and I am finally calm and hopeful that I will soon have my home back in order.

During the holidays we discovered mold in the corner of a seldom used upstairs linen closet with now faulty window. I've had other providers out over the past 20 years. Called Sawtooth and immediately had their team out to assess, mitigate and ultimately restore the closet. The team was fantastic, clean and efficient. We also had an identical window on the ground floor that we wanted replaced and were able to have it address in addition to our insurance claim work.
